This page explains what DROME+ collects when you apply as an athlete or as a brand, why we need it, who can see it and how to have it removed. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.

1. Who we are

DROME+ ("DROME+", "we", "us") runs this website and the sponsorship platform behind it, and is the controller of the personal data described here. For anything to do with your data, write to hello@dromeplus.online.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you type into our forms or send to us. There is no hidden collection anywhere on this site.

From athletes: your name, email, phone if you give one, date of birth, country and city, sport, weight class, fight record, titles and rankings, club or team, promotions you have fought for, the record links you provide such as BoxRec, Tapology or Sherdog, your next fight if you list one, the social profiles and follower counts you enter, the languages you speak, the kind of sponsorship you are looking for, the support level and period you have in mind, what you can offer a sponsor, any links to photos, video or a media kit, and anything you write in the free text fields.

From brands: your company name and website, country and industry, the contact person's name, role, email and phone if given, what you want the campaign to do, the sports, athlete level, regions and audience you are looking for, your budget band and period, the deliverables and usage rights you need, your restrictions, how you heard about us, and anything you write in the free text fields.

Self-reported reach. Follower and audience numbers are the numbers you type in yourself. We do not connect to any social platform's API and we do not measure your accounts. These figures are always shown as your own statement.

Technical details. With each application we store the time it was sent, the language version of the site you used and your browser user agent string. Our server keeps short-lived request logs, which include IP addresses, so we can rate limit spam and abuse.

3. Why we use it

  • To review your application and decide whether to approve it.
  • To match athletes and brands, and to build the shortlists and proposals that come out of that.
  • To contact you about your application, your account and the platform.
  • After approval, to show your profile to brands or athletes you are shortlisted for, so a sponsorship conversation can start.
  • To keep the platform secure and to stop spam and abuse.

We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

4. Legal basis

We rely on your consent, which you give with the checkboxes at the end of each application form, for storing your application, reviewing it, and sharing your profile with the brands or athletes you are shortlisted for. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us, and withdrawing it does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.

We rely on our legitimate interest for running and securing the platform: keeping records of applications we have handled, preventing spam and abuse, and answering messages you send us.

5. Where your data is stored

Applications are stored as structured JSON files on our own server inside the European Union. They are not held in a third party customer database and they are not copied into a marketing tool.

Access is limited to the DROME+ team, through a password protected admin area that is never indexed by search engines. Backups of the server are also kept inside the European Union.

6. How long we keep it

  • Declined applications are deleted 12 months after the decision, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Approved applications are kept for as long as the account exists, because they are the account. They are deleted when you close it.
  • Server request logs are short-lived and are overwritten in the normal course of running the site.

7. Cookies

DROME+ sets no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no third party cookies. That is why you do not see a cookie banner here.

Only two cookies can ever be set:

  • A language preference, so the site opens in the language you last chose.
  • An admin session cookie, which is only ever set for a signed-in member of the DROME+ team. Visitors never receive it.

The registration forms also save your draft answers in your own browser's local storage, so you do not lose your progress if you close the tab. That draft stays on your device and is cleared once the form is sent.

8. Analytics

We currently run no analytics, no heatmaps and no advertising pixels on this site. If we add a privacy-friendly analytics tool later, we will name it on this page before it goes live.

9. Who we share it with

Your application is read by the DROME+ team. After you are approved, your profile is shown to the brands, or the athletes, you are shortlisted for, so that a sponsorship conversation can start. Nobody can browse the applicant pool without going through us.

Beyond that, we share personal data only with the hosting provider that runs our server, and where we are legally required to. We do not transfer your data outside the European Union for storage.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, to delete it, to limit what we do with it, or to send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time.

Write to hello@dromeplus.online and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handled it, you can complain to the data protection authority of the country where DROME+ is registered, or to the one where you live.

11. Children

DROME+ is for adults. You must be at least 18 to apply, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has sent us an application, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We will update this page as the platform grows, for example if we add analytics or a new way of storing applications. The date at the top always shows the current version, and we will tell approved members by email before a material change takes effect. Our terms of use explain the rest of the relationship.
